Mexican Menu (PDF) Lodge Menu (PDF) About Our Restaurant Upscale dining in a casual, lakefront setting. This is more than just burgers and fries. We offer a full restaurant menu - Breakfast, lunch and dinner and feature a Sunday Brunch Buffet that is popular with local area residents as well as summer residents from many area lakes. During the summer months - from Memorial day to Labor day we host a Wednesday Night Walleye & Wild Rice Buffet. This abundant buffet highlights what is best about our northwoods cuisine. For our Friday Night Fiesta we don’t just have a special, we have an entire special Mexican menu and on Saturday night we offer a BBQ Ribs or Coconut Shrimp special. During the Summer resort season our Restaurant is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm Monday thru Saturday (we close the grill every day from 3 - 5 pm) and on Sunday for Brunch from 9am to 2 pm. From October 1st thru the middle of May, our Restaurant is open Friday & Saturday from 11 am to 9pm and Sunday Brunch from 10 am to 2 pm.

Unplug & Unwind for a week in the Northwood’s Plenty of opportunities to play – play music, fish, canoe, eat, relax, make new friends & play more music Come for our Monday to Monday week and join us for a weekend long jam session in the lodge. October - Our very popular “Oktoberfest” The Friday of MEA each year we host a buffetfeaturing classic German foods such as Sauerbraten, Weinerschnitzel, Hot German Potato Salad and Black Forest Torte. December - Our Lodge is available for Holiday Parties of up to 75 people. Party space is available every day of the week. Call us to reserve your date early, and we will set up a special menu just for your event. New Years Eve - Join us on New Years Eve for a fine dining evening. We offer a very special menu that includes appetizer, salad, soup, entree, dessert and a glass of wine for one price. Live acoustic music throughout the evening. This evening fills up fast, and reservations are required, so please reserve early. January - On the third week-end in January the Waubun Wildlife Club holds their annual Ice Fishing Tournament on the bay in front of our resort. This is a very popular and well attended event. The public is welcome - Come on out! February - Happy Valentines Day. Treat your sweetheart to a romantic evening in front of the fireplace at New Horizon. Enjoy live music, and a special menu served by candlelight. March - St. Patrick’s Day. Wearin’ o the green and an Irish Buffet. Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew, Colcannon and Irish coffee silk pie are just a few of the selections available on this fun evening. Easter Sunday - Our Easter Sunday Buffet is just a little more special than our regular Sunday Buffet, and we are open for a longer time, from 9am to 2pm. Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, Braised Lamb in egg and lemon sauce, Ham & Broccoli rolls and Hot Cross Buns are just a few of the treats available on this buffet. Reservations are strongly recommended.
